To Whom It May Concern:

Gary Boren's presentation on free throws and shooting was excellent. Our staff enjoyed his attention to detail and the simplicity of the program. The video assessment is a real asset to the development of each players ability to improve. I recommend Gary to any program that needs assistance in the area of free throws and shooting.

Sincerely,

Steve Cleveland
Head Basketball Coach
BYU

Dear Gary,

When you first approached me for guidance I was willing to help because I know there is a need for this service. The statistics prove that more specialized instruction is required in this area which is threatening to become an embarrassment to the game at both professional and collegiate levels.

While working with you I have become convinced that the school and the video will both be successful, primarily because of your focus, determination and attention to detail. I will encourage my friends throughout the NBA and at the college level to see you because I know they will enjoy positive results from your instruction.

I've been coaching over 35 years now, at the NBA level. I've crossed paths with many excellent foul shooters and coaches who are experts in this area, but in my opinion, you are the best that I ever met. Whether you are teaching a player how to shoot or a coach how to teach, your ability to effectively communicate the knowledge that you have about shooting is incredible.

Please feel free to use this letter if it will help in any way, or as interested party to call me in Cleveland at 216-659-9100 for my personal endorsement of your teaching skills. Thanks again for joining us in Detroit last weekend for our practice and game with the Pistons.

Sincerely yours,

Richie Adubato
Cleveland Cavaliers

Dear Gary,

Thank you for coming to Pittsburgh and training our staff on the "Art" of shooting free throws. We have already started to implement the program you provided for our players and it is paying dividends. I know that your influence will make a difference during our season as we will shoot better from the line.

Our players have responded with a great deal of enthusiasm to the program. They like seeing themselves shooting - many of them have never had their free throws video taped. It is important that the players buy into the program in order for it to be successful. Well, it is clear to me that they are really excited about making the commitment to getting better and the credit for that goes to your philosophies on how to teach proper free throw shooting techniques.

I am sure that your history of success as a free throw shooting coach is going to have an extremely positive influence on our program. Duquesne Basketball, today, is a better program than it was before you began work as a consultant for us. Our entire staff is thankful that you were able to make the trip to Pittsburgh.

Looking forward to working with you for years to come. Best of luck to you during the 2002-2003 season.

Sincerely yours,

Danny Nee
Head Basketball Coach
Duquesne University

To Whom It May Concern,

I am happy to recommend Gary Boren as an outstanding shooting instructor. Gary spent time with me and my staff discussing all aspects of shooting. The discussion was thought provoking and enlightening for me and my staff. In the end we were very encouraged by all the different aspects of shooting techniques that we have used and will use to teach our players the art of free throw shooting.

Gary Boren's insightful way of presenting the facts about making free throws with the statistical information to back up his philosophy and video that allows you to see it for yourself makes his presentation worthwhile for all players and coaches. Gary has had the opportunity to work with some of the outstanding professional players and his techniques have helped all of them. My staff and I are convinced that free throw shooting is the key to winning all close ball games and can't be emphasized enough.

If you have any questions about free throw shooting, don't hesitate to call Gary Boren.

Sincerely,

Jim Jim Larranaga
Head Basketball Coach

George Mason University

To Whom It May Concern,

I would highly recommend bringing Gary Boren in to work with your program; he has had a significant impact on our team's free throw shooting.

Coach Boren has dissected the free throw in more detail than I have ever previously seen. His innovative techniques for analyzing the free throw through video tape have encouraged our players to critique their own shot and spend more time perfecting it.

Obviously, free throws are a crucial element of the game and I am confident Gary's expertise will continue to help us for years ahead.

Sincerely,

Quin Snyder
Head Coach
Missouri Basketball

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing today to fully endorse Gary Boren as an excellent teacher and coach of the art of shooting free throws. Gary visited with our coaching staff in the off season and had a very positive effect. He taught our coaches " how to coach our players" to shoot free throws.

Gary's demonstration reveals the basic concepts of free throw shooting and helps coaches and players visualize the perfect "repeatable" free throw. His use of video is simple yet profound. Players can see their free throw problems(s) and more readily accept the coaching.

Without reservation, I would encourage you to utilize Gary Boren to help your team (players and coaches) with their free throw shooting.

Sincerely,

Barry Collier
Head Basketball Coach
University of Nebraska

Dear Gary,

I wanted to thank you for sharing your insight and analytical knowledge of how to properly shoot free throws. Many coaches just give textbook descriptions of shooting free throws. What impressed me most about your teaching is that you cater to each individual.

Your video analysis and prompt feedback has enabled my staff to work on simple subtleties with each of our players. I have noticed that increased success at the free throw line has carried over to our players' jump shots. I have always believed free throws win ball games. I frequently stress this to my players. They now have added confidence with they step up to shoot free throws.

There is a reason why the Dallas Mavericks were the best free throw shooting team in the NBA last year. The answer is simple - Gary Boren.

Sincerely,

Mike Adras
Head Basketball Coach
Northern Arizona University

Dear Gary,

Thank you for sharing your free throw expertise with our staff. Your innovative approach shed light on various aspects of free throw shooting that we had never analyzed before. As you know "How you teach is just as important as what you teach" and we really liked how you teach free throw shooting. Your video teaching method and Error Checklist will be particularly beneficial for my staff in helping to improve our players' free throw shooting technique.

I look forward to implementing your system and benefiting from the results of great free throw percentages. In addition, I believe that the improvements in free throw shooting technique will also benefit our players' shooting percentages from the floor.

We would certainly recommend you to any team looking to improve their free throw percentages.

Best of luck!

Sincerely,

D. Michael Dement
